Reverse DNS Lookup
Find domain names associated with IP addresses using reverse DNS lookup. Check PTR records and identify hostnames from any IP address.
How to use in DNSToolbx:
- Click Reverse DNS in the sidebar.
- Enter the IP address you want to look up in the input box.
- Press the Check Reverse DNS button to view the domain name.
Results show the PTR record and associated domain for the IP.
How Reverse DNS Works
Reverse DNS looks up the PTR record for an IP address to find its associated domain name. Useful for email server validation and network diagnostics.
