How to use in DNSToolbx:
  1. Click Traceroute in the sidebar.
  2. Enter the domain or IP you want to trace in the input box.
  3. Press the Run Traceroute button to see the network path.

How Traceroute Works

Traceroute sends packets with increasing TTL values to map the path through routers to the destination. It helps identify network bottlenecks and routing issues.

Typical Use Cases

  • Diagnose network routing problems
  • Find where packets are delayed or dropped
  • Map the path to a server
